The training of solicitors

You may know that at the Annual General Meeting of the Law Society of Scotland in 1998 it was agreed to adopt the report in relation to the revised Diploma in Legal Practice and two-year traineeship.

Members of the Review Working Party are anxious to ensure that all members of the Profession are aware of what it is aiming to achieve with the introduction of the new r?gime and to address any concerns and misconceptions which members may have in Relation to the changes to both the Diploma in Legal Practice and the structure of the Traineeship.

Representatives of the Review Working Party have thus agreed to address members of The profession and answer questions at an open meeting in the Signet Library On Tuesday, 15th September, 1998 Starting at 6.00 p.m. All are welcome.
