HOME REPORTS MONITOR

Now that the home reports regime has taken effect, it is important that we accumulate intelligence as quickly as possible of any harm/benefit to the market arising from this innovation.  The Society proposes to create a home report monitor by issuing to as large a number of firms as possible, a simple questionnaire, designed to be completed in the minimum time and not to disclose any sensitive business information.  Due to our limited resources, we shall focus the monitor sheet in certain areas of the country only.  However, if any practitioner reading this item would wish to participate in the scheme then please advise the Secretary accordingly at secretary@slas.co.uk.  We are asking for the monitor sheet to be returned at the end of each calendar month and it contains four simple questions concerning the percentage of loan instructions which you receive on the strength of purchaser’s surveyors as opposed to seller’s single surveys etc.
