Draft Mental Health Bill

The Scottish Executive has published a draft mental health Bill and invites comments from interested parties before its introduction before the Scottish Parliament in September. It contains provisions on compulsory care and treatment, how to deal with mentally disordered offenders, patient representation and treatment and the powers of the Mental Health Welfare Commission.
