BACK ON THE ROAD(SHOW)
There is a memorial service for John Sinclair in his home town of Crail this afternoon and, of course, SLAS shall be well represented. However, the Glasgow delivery of the Roadshow is a long standing commitment which also has to be met and this will run from about 3.30pm as part of the Landmark Roadshow at The Royal Facultry of Procurators of Glasgow, at Nelson Mandela Place form 2.00pm to 5.30.pm. The event is fully subscribed but if anyone would like to come along and join in for the SLAS part of the programme they should contact the secretary this morning to find out whether this can be arranged.
The programme runs along sinilar lines and timetable this week, at the Avon Bridge hotel at Hamilton on Tuesday 17th November, at the Ramada Jarvis hotel in Ayr on Wednesday 18th November and at the Watermill hotel in Paisley on Thursday 19th November. Our presentation includes a short DVD presentation which is said to have done for the televion documentary what William Topaz McGonagall did for lyrical poetry, but it is probably not as good as that.
